Attestation already has real infrastructure — Hypercerts for ecosystem contributions, MIRA's own attestation work — but none of it is interoperable with the others. Breadcrumbs is the framework that lets it be: badges (an authority attests to you) and crumbs (anyone attests anything for anybody else, no authority required). It complements these efforts rather than competing with them. Full reasoning: breadcrumbs' own compendium.
The first physical breadcrumbs go to a real workshop, 12 to 15 October 2026: NFC keyrings, glass cabochons with a QR code, cards and station magnets. Every tap is a signed record in your own repository. The write-up lives on the blog, not here:
A physical compute/attestation node for field robots and tractors — the at.tractor NSID authority, grounded in the attractor pun, anthroposophic Dreigliederung, and tacit-knowledge preservation. Its own design language, Cab & Hitch, is the tractor cab/dashboard: real agricultural machinery already saturated with mostly-invisible compute, with the PTO and three-point hitch as existing mechanical precedents for shared power and open interop.
Jev (TypeSafe's judgment model) now judges atmospheric evidence — a threaded reply, a Semble save — feeding real attestations here and in SAIL, a parallel research project on Socratic-scaffolded learning. It judges and replies today; it doesn't yet publish as a public label — that's the next real step, not finished.
in progress Real deployment: none yet — this is a design language and lexicon (at.tractor.node) ahead of any actual node.
in conversation CoCore (Devin Gaffney) on how this plugs into their network.
gated tractor.at stays lexicon-authority-only until a real Austria partner exists.
live First physical breadcrumbs at IOSP 2026 (Leiden): keyrings, cabochons, cards and station magnets are registered and switched on. Taps are self-claims, evidence links come next.
